Despite the cold spring, the vines are doing very well. As long as Mother Nature complies, we should have a bumper crop this Fall….(Mother Nature includes frost, deer and wild turkeys!). Given that bumper crop means lots of wine, we are looking at the space we have currently for storage and there is not enough room. Although sales are moving well as we transition into new vintages (of note, 2 cases left of the Marquette Cab Franc 2011), we can see that come September we still will be in need of space. The new barn won’t be insulated and heated in time to be used for storage so we came up with another idea.
